Rise Schools prepares students for success in college and in life. We prepare every Rise scholar to apply, matriculate and succeed at four year colleges and universities.
Our first school, Rise Academy-South Dade Charter School opened in August 2008 and currently serves students in K, 1, 2, 6 and 7 grades.
School begins promptly at 8:00 AM every day and we recommend that our scholars arrive between 7:30 AM and 7:45 AM to prepare for their day. Monday through Thursday school ends at 4:00 PM. Aftercare (for a sliding scale fee) runs from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. On Friday, school ends at 1:30 PM and there is aftercare (for a sliding scale fee) from 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM.
Upcoming events:
- Board of Directors Meeting: The Board of Directors meeting will be on the third Monday of every month from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM at Rise Academy-South Dade Charter School located at 103 E. Lucy Street, Suite 151, Florida City, FL 33034. For directions, please call 305-677-3779.
- EESAC Meeting: First Tuesday of every month from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Rise Academy-South Dade Charter School.

Rise parents:
- Are you a current parent or guardian of a Rise scholar? Click here for more information.
- Rise middle schoolers who are participaing in the Relay for Life should be at the event for no more than four (4) hours. Please be sure that you pick up your child within four (4) hours of dropping him or her off. Parents are welcome to stay with their children!
- Uniforms are MANDATORY. Uniform shirts are on sale in the main office every day from 7:30 AM-6:00 PM. Elementary shirts are $12 or 3 for $30. Middle school shirts are $18 or 3 for $45.

Rise in the community:
-Rise middle schoolers will be participating in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life at Homestead Hospital on Saturday, May 15, 2010 from noon until midnight.
- Rise Academy-South Dade Charter School is an active member of the Homestead/Florida City Chamber of Commerce.
